Day 1: Arrive Shannon - Trump International Doonbeg
Arrive at Shannon Airport on your transatlantic flight. Your Shannon Transfers driver meets you at arrivals, loads your clubs into your private vehicle, and brings you directly to Trump International Golf Links at Doonbeg - 1 hour from the terminal. Play your round in the afternoon (check tee time availability with the resort in advance). Return transfer to your Doonbeg Lodge or accommodation in the area.
Doonbeg is the ideal first-day course - close to Shannon, manageable in length, and spectacular enough to set the tone for the trip. Evening at the lodge.
Day 2: Lahinch Golf Club
Morning transfer from your Doonbeg accommodation (approximately 40 minutes) to Lahinch Golf Club on the Clare coast. Lahinch is a traditional links with blind holes, a resident goat tradition, and views of the Cliffs of Moher on clear days. Play a full round and allow time for the 19th hole at the clubhouse.
Optional afternoon add-on: the Cliffs of Moher are 10 minutes from Lahinch. If your tee time allows, your driver can take you to the cliffs for an hour before the return journey. Return to your Shannon/Clare area accommodation for the night. If you add a rest day to the trip, book our private Cliffs of Moher tour or the Ring of Kerry private tour.
Day 3: Ballybunion Golf Club - Depart Shannon
The final morning - check out, transfer south into Kerry to Ballybunion Golf Club (approximately 1 hour 20 minutes from Shannon). Ballybunion Old Course is the farewell round: a clifftop links above the Shannon Estuary that has been described as the finest in the world by those who know. Play your round, return to Shannon Airport in good time for your departure flight.
